Vital is a rather new synthesizer created by a single person Matt Tytel. it’s the same guy who brought us the free HELM Synthesizer. Vital is a  wavetable synthesizer with a high-quality sound that has a new approach to wavetable synthesis: frequency warpers and waveshapers.The interface is very intuitive, modern and well thought out giving all flexibility needed and almost endless possibilities. For those that fancy the old matrix-style layout for overviewing your patch, rest assured it is also featured. The synthesizer is getting recognition for its ability to edit and mangle harmonic content. Not only that, it lets you do alternate blending with things like Harmonic/inharmonic stretch, spectral time, Shepard tone, FM, RM, Sync, etc. This synth is also very ‘smart’ and not as heavy on the cpu so that you can easily have multiple instances running in real time.
